Description
Antique Chair
Early Mahogany Queen Anne antique Chair with Gooseneck arms and Queen Anne legs. This antique chair is difficult to date, as some parts appear to have been added and repaired, such as the corner blocks around the legs which have been attached to the frame with flat head screws.
However, we believe this to be a period early to mid 19th century chair. The style, hand carved pieces and overall appearance of the finish seem to be correct of this period.
It is a great accent antique Queen Anne chair in an historic home. Very stylish deep finish with minor signs of wear to the arms and back splat.
