Statton Secretary Desk
Statton Secretary Desk in solid cherry. This beautiful traditional desk has great presence and is of great quality. Statton made this desk for their “Trutype” line.
The desk features a relatively simple exterior. The top half (the secretary is two piece) features glass in the doors, a nice dental molding and top crown. Inside, there are two adjustable cherry shelves.
Of course, the bottom half of the secretary has more detail. Inside the slant front, a beautiful mix of drawers and small pigeon holes decorate the interior.
Below, four nice drawers and lovely carved bracket feet finish the piece.
Overall, the secretary desk is in good vintage condition. It has its original Old Towne Finish. There still remains a bit of patina on the hardware. Additionally, there is some staining inside a few of the drawers. Please see photos.
