The chairs are made of solid cherry. Of course, the upholstered seat on these chairs make them work for a formal dining room.
The four chairs are in good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use. You may find a few light signs of use to the frames. The seats appear to be firm, but you may wish to reupholster them for your room. Currently, they feature a light grey/green fabric on the seats.
