Vintage Custom Made Poster Bed
Vintage Custom Made Poster Bed in full or double size. This lovely solid cherry poster bed has a beautiful traditional look and shows beautiful quality.
The poster bed has very nice turned posts. Each post has an elegant design, ending in a finial. Additionally, the headboard features Federal style. It has a broken arch terminating in rosettes and a center finial. Finally, the footboard features a quilt rail and nicely turned posts.
Overall this poster bed is in very good vintage condition. We believe it was made in circa 1980-1990 by either the Ira Lesher and Sons workshops or the Raymond Smith workshops. Both of these talented cabinet shops crafted very nice solid wood furniture.
