Also, it has nice paneled sides and back. Finally, the nightstand sits on castors, so it is simple to move around.

Locally in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, Raymond Smith Furniture is known for quality and craftsmanship. The Shippensburg, PA workshops produced nice cherry and maple pieces for all rooms of the home. The company made mostly simple Shaker type designs, with simple detailing and very few extra flourishes.
Overall, this nightstand shows good vintage condition, with a few light blemishes here and there. Please see photos.
