Antique Gentleman’s Chest
Often, these tall chests are called antique Gentleman’s chests, because in addition to the drawers, it also features a small cabinet. Of course, this small cabinet door is where a man would store his hat.
However, they also go by the name “Bonnet Chest” if it were to be used by a lady.
The tall oak chest has an attached mirror with lovely carvings and turnings. Also, the chest features beautiful brass hardware. Finally, the chest cabinet door has a lovely carved design on the door.
Tall Oak Dresser with Mirror
We refinished this tall oak dresser with mirror in order to restore the beauty of the oak wood. It shows well and is in good shape. That said, the beveled mirror does have a few minor signs of age to the glass. Also, the key no longer functions in the door.
