Item: Vintage Demi Lune Desk in Cherry Wood.

Age & Condition: Circa 1950-1960. Refinished and restored, very good.

Description

Beautiful vintage demi lune desk in solid cherry wood. This attractive Mid Century Desk has a nice look and shows good quality.

Vintage Demi Lune Desk

This nice vintage Demi Lune Desk would be beautiful in a bay window, or in the center of a room. The curved shape of the demi lune desk makes it very organic and pretty. The desk has two rooms of drawers and a small lap drawer in the front. Then, in the back, it has reeded sides and two decorative shelves, for books or small knick-knacks.

The round shape of the desk makes it slightly unusual, but definitely attractive for a home office.

Additionally, the top features a lovely inset grain that gives the desk additional charm.

Finally, the desk features brass hardware.

Mid Century Desk

While this desk was likely made in the 1950s or 1960s, it has an unusual design that melds curved shapes and straight clean lines. The tapered legs and rounded top make it very nice for any retro or more traditional home.

We refinished this desk in order to bring back the beauty of the cherry wood. It shows very well, but may have a bit of patina to the hardware.
