Vintage Mission Style Sofa
This vintage mission style sofa features a very angular, almost blocky design. The straight continuous back and wide arm rests create the bulk of the frame, while vertical slats create the back and side support.
This simple design reflects the tenets of Mission style or Arts and Crafts movements. Certainly, form follows function in this almost minimalist design.
Celebrating the beauty of the wood and simplicity of construction, this settle has strong echos of Gustav Stickley designs.
Settle Style Loveseat
The cherry wood frame has a rich brown color and shows very well.
Also, the Settle style loveseat features an upholstered seat and zippered back pillows done in a grey micro-fiber type fabric. While we did use an upholstery cleaner on the fabric (and sanitize, as per Pennsylvania State laws), you may wish to have it deep cleaned by a professional.
Of course, this sofa frame would be relatively simple to reupholster if another fabric would better suit your needs.
