Antique Secretary Desk
Of course, this secretary desk comes apart in three pieces, to make transport easier. The top half of the secretary desk consists of a bookcase or display case with glass doors. Inside, you will find adjustable shelves (three in total). Each shelf has a groove for displaying plates. One of the shelves is wider than the other two. Additionally, the back is lined with a pretty green felt.
The bottom half of the Empire Secretary desk has a slant front writing surface that folds forwards. On either side of the desk are retractable wooden supports that hold this folding desk. This section also features two cabinet doors that hide a divided storage area. Each storage area has a shelf. The feet of the desk are particularly beautiful. The front legs have what is often called “hairy paw” design.
Finally, the crown detatches from the top of the desk as the third and final section.
Empire Secretary Desk
This beautiful Empire Secretary Desk has a beautiful design and lovely mahogany wood. Also, it features the original glazed and blown glass in the doors.
We refinished the desk in order to restore its beauty. It has a few minor imperfections and signs of age.
