Incredible, highly carved antique oak blind door china cabinet buffet made by Kittinger in the early 1920’s. This Kittinger Antique buffet has a very attractive Jacobean style. However, it would work beautifully in a Spanish or Mediterranean style home as well. Of course, this antique Kittinger buffet could be used as a bar, cabinet, wardrobe, hallway or bedroom piece.
Kittinger is a high end furniture maker from Buffalo, New York. They are highly reputable and are known for both their Colonial reproduction pieces (they held the official Colonial Williamsburg mark for about 50 years) and faithfully reproduced many of the country’s highly prized historic pieces. Since the 1960’s, Kittinger furniture has also decorated the White House and other diplomatic buildings. This piece is an early Kittinger piece and is marked with a metal badge in the back.
Tons of storage space in the top and bottom cabinet doors. Very good antique condition. This buffet is in orignal finish. Slight damage near the keyholes on the bottom half of the cabinet.
