Beautiful mahogany antique bookcase with drop front secretary desk by Batesville. This lovely Batesville Bookcase dates to circa 1930 and has many beautiful elements.
Batesville Bookcase
The top of this antique bookcase has an arched full bonnet with a decorative overlay on the glass. Indeed, this arched full bonnet provides a great place for display. Of course, it makes this Batesville bookcase totally unique. The bottom cabinet doors of this Bastesville Furniture bookcase have a beautiful flame mahogany overlay. Also, the shelves inside are adjustable and are also solid mahogany. Finally, the middle drawer of this arched bookcase cabinet opens to reveal a writing surface and secretary.
This piece has been beautifully restored and refinished and is in very good condition. It would be beautiful in a library, office, living room or even for china in a dining room.
