Description
Antique Corner Cabinet
Beautiful antique corner cabinet with incredibly delicate inlay. This Federal style corner cabinet shows excellent quality and beauty!
Of course, the corner cabinet features a beautiful arched door. Within this door, we see that each piece of glass has been carefully glazed into place. Inside, each corner shelf has a plate grove and is adjustable.
Also, the corner cabinet has beautiful flame mahogany veneer on the cabinet doors. Finally, it has line-inlay on the sides, feet and bottom.
To top off this piece, you will see the Federal style arches with inlaid rosettes. Also, it has a beautiful flame-style finial on the top.
Inlaid Mahogany
Certainly, inlaid mahogany furniture commands a higher value. After all, it takes considerable more time to carefully cut and inlay the fine pieces of wood inside a piece.
Potthast Brothers Furniture
With the slogan, “Antiques of Tomorrow,” Potthast Brothers Furniture Company represents incredible craftsmanship and elegance. This Baltimore furniture company started in the late 1800s and continued prospering until the late 1950s and 1960s.
We believe this corner cabinet likely dates to circa 1930.
We refinished the cabinet. It shows well. However, you still might find minor signs of age or use.
