Antique Empire Secretary Desk
This antique Empire Secretary desk comes apart in two pieces. The top half of the desk features two glass doors and a white painted interior. Also, it has adjustable height shelves.
The desk portion of the secretary features a drop front writing surface. Inside, you will find several small drawers, each with a white porcelain knob. Also, there is a small door with another small drawer inside.
Antique Secretary Desk Mahogany
Of course, the beauty of this antique secretary desk lies in the gorgeous mahogany veneers on the desk surface, drawers and scroll columns. The desk has a very rich flame mahogany that has been book-matched on the drawers and desk front.
We refinished this desk in order to enhance its beauty. It has a small flaw to one of the glass doors, where some extra glazing was added to repair the pane. It may have a few other minor imperfections consistent with age.
