Description

Beautiful antique four drawer chest of drawers in mahogany wood. This lovely transitional chest dates to just after the Federal period.

Antique Four Drawer Chest

This beautiful antique four drawer chest has a lovely design. Firstly, the chest has tall turned legs. Also, it has graduated drawers. Of course, it has lovely cookie corner columns on either side.

Finally, the chest of drawers mahogany features beautiful brass Hepplewhite style hardware. Although perhaps not original, the hardware adds a lot of beautiful brightness to the mahogany wood.

This chest has beautiful grain and a warm mahogany color. It retains a rustic beauty that speaks to its age and history.

Cookie Corner Chest

This nice cookie corner chest shows really well. We restored the finish and polished the brass hardware. That said, there are some inevitable signs of age and use. For instance, there is a hole in the third drawer bottom where a knot from the wood fell out. Additionally, one post on the bottom hardware was replaced.
