Antique Victorian Bed
Certainly, the tall headboard and impressive shape of this bed makes it a statement piece. The bed features a tall headboard with lots of impressive details. Firstly, it has several attached pieces that create dimension to the headboard. It has a carved crest-like piece at the pinnacle, and several other applied decoration.
Also, the bed has an insert of beautiful burl walnut veneer, with beautiful figural movement. Lastly, the bed has painted decorations that add even more interest to the piece.
Walnut and Paint Decorated Bed
Of course, this Walnut and Paint decorated bed would fit beautifully into a Victorian home. However, it also creates a statement in any more traditional bedroom. The bed will accomodate a standard Full Size bed (boxspring and mattress). We will include wooden slats for the bed (not pictured).
Overall this bed shows beautifully and is in good condition. The rails fit nicely and create a solid frame. That said, there are some slight splits to the side rails. Please see photos.
