Description

This is a Drexel vintage tall curio cabinet with two side by side doors. It has a black lacquer finish on the exterior and is decorated with flowers and other Oriental style motifs. The interior is covered with gold-leaf style finish. The piece is lighted from the top with a tube florescent light bulb. It has four glass shelves on the interior. The center shelf is a smaller piece of glass and is supported by a wood shelf. The center shelf is not adjustable. The glass doors are each made with separate panes of glass and are beveled.

This is a very tall and narrow cabinet. The bottom has a metal brick embedded in the piece which helps to keep this tall narrow cabinet from tipping. This makes this piece a bit heavier and more awkward to move so please, if you choose delivery, let us know about your home and where you intend to place the cabinet. We also would recommend having a contractor adhering eyehooks or anchoring straps to the back of the cabinet to keep this piece from rocking forward or causing injury or harm to any children.

This piece is in pretty good vintage condition. It does have some signs of use. There are a few scuffs to the lacquer finish on the bottom and sides of the piece. Please see the photos.
