Vintage Marble Top Credenza “Sold”

Item: Marble Top Three Drawer Credenza in Jacobean Style.

Age: Circa 1900-1910.

Details: Beautiful Antique Carved Base Credenza with Marble Top.
Carved detailing on the drawers and fluted legs and stretcher base.
Thick, heavy marble top original to the piece. This marble is detachable and is extremely heavy and hard to move.

Condition: Several condition issues but nonetheless structurally sound. A repair to the marble top. Scratching to the marble surface. Warping to one leg. Please see photos and long description.

Size: 78″ wide x 24.5″ deep x 38.5″ tall.

Description

Beautiful circa 1910 piece with walnut carved base and heavy solid marble top. This piece is stately and glamorous with carved detailing on the drawer fronts, legs and beveled deep black and green marble which appears to be original to the piece.

An incredible piece for the price, this credenza does have a few condition issues. The marble has been epoxied and repaired in the right corner where it had at some point been broken off. There is some scratching to the surface of the marble. And one of the six legs appears to be warped. Please see photos for an idea of these issues. It is nonetheless a very impressive piece of furniture and has a great look. Structurally, it is sound.

The marble is detachable and is extremely heavy. It takes two men to carry it comfortably.
