Vintage Mahogany Mirror with Gilded Top
Vintage Mahogany Mirror with gilded top decoration. This lovely Federal style vintage mirror has a beautiful look and could work in any room of the house!
The mirror features a nice rectangular frame, with extra corner details. Of course, this adds a bit more dimension and more of an early Georgian style.
Additionally, it has a three feather fan on the top, with Greek key design. Obviously, this gives it a bit more Neoclassical style.
Overall, the vintage mirror is in good vintage condition. The glass appears to be in good shape and mostly clear, with minor signs of age. The frame, too, is in good shape.
You may wish to use a strong wire across the back. However, we prefer to use a French cleat system for heavy mirrors. (There is one called “Hangman” that is very easy to use and inexpensive.)
