Vintage Paint Decorated Plank Chairs
Nice vintage Paint decorated plank chairs with charming fruit paintings. These lovely plank chairs are most likely quite old, but have been repainted and re-caned so that they look quite fresh!
Of course, the chairs have a nice plank design, with wide back-splat and spindle legs. Also, the plank chairs feature a cane bottom seat. Finally, the plank chairs have a black painted surface with folk-art style painting.
On the reverse of these chairs, we found a signature of the artist who painted them (Betty H. Smith, Frederick, MD). Unfortunately, they do not feature a date. However, most likely they were painted in the 1960s or later.
The chairs have a great primitive look and show good vintage condition.
