This vintage secretary desk comes in two pieces. The top half of the desk has two doors and houses a plethora of cubbies and small drawers. Also, it has two columns that also act as hidden drawers.
The bottom of the leather topped secretary desk includes a large fold out writing surface and a series of drawers underneath.
This Leather Topped Secretary desk has a lot of stylish attributes. Firstly, it has a double bonnet top. Of course, this echoes early English furniture from the early 19th century.
It shows good condition, with very few signs of age or use.
Although unmarked, we believe this desk was likely made by Maitland Smith Furniture company. This company is known for their stylish pieces, often with very similar tooled leather surfaces.
