Certainly, this vintage settee has a gorgeous mahogany wood frame. The frame features a delicately carved back, with three fluted sections. Each section features a unique column motif with Lincoln Drape carving and rosette. Of course, this design plays on several 18th century motifs from antiquity.
Additionally, the settee has a fineness and elegance to its overall design and delicate carvings. The elegant tapered legs add to the look as well.
Hepplewhite Style Settee
Additionally, this Hepplewhite Style Settee has a beautiful fabric upholstered bench seat as well. The generous cushion is upholstered in a joyful pink and white striped fabric, which adds some brightness to the dark frame.
Overall this vintage settee is in good overall condition. However, there are a few small flaws to report. There is a small chip to the frame, just beneath the right arm. You may also find a few light mars or scratches to the finish.
