What’s The Value of a Chippendale Style Antique Chair? Bohemians antique store sold a circa 1890 Chippendale style chair for about $300 in February of 2018. The chair had been professionally reupholstered. The chair was hand carved.
The specs were as follows.
Item: Antique Mahogany Chippendale Style Chair.
Age & Condition: Circa 1900 in Original Finish. Some Repairs on the back. A few spots on the upholstery.
Size: 24″ wide x 19″ deep at the seat x 37″ tall.
Antique Chair – Chippendale Style
Very pretty carved back antique chair from circa 1900, carved in a Chinese Chippendale style. Very pretty and finely carved backsplat and legs.
Upholstery is a nice damask but does have a few minor spots. Webbing and interior seat appears to have been redone at a later date.
